This restaurant is now closed! We're all very sad to see it go, so much so that it's staying on this page as a memory.
A favorite of athletes, celebrities, and locals alike and perfect for a date or a group outing, Bob the Chef's is fun and funky with good food and a great feel. Fill your belly and feed your soul with the chicken, either “Glorifried,” baked, or BBQ ($11); the popular jambalaya ($13), or the mustard fried catfish ($13). For the more adventurous eaters, try the chicken livers, pigs' feet, or ham hocks (entrees $11-15). Vegetarians, beware: the country-style southern menu is great for meat-lovers but has virtually no veggie-friendly options. Lively jazz performances Th-Sa7:30pm-midnight and during Su brunch (cover for shows $3-7). Su all-you-can-eat brunch $19. Take-out and catering are also available.

Thank you for your contribution. You've taken a huge step to making Povo the "word on the street,"
and we appreciate it very much. Because of the complexity of the "wiki text" and code that can be used
on Povo, in order to edit this section in the future you must click the "edit" button to the right of the section
heading (or for the whole page).
Graffiti is a place for quick notes. Know the hours of a business but not sure where to put it? Did something just happen at this place? Leave some graffiti.
Sometimes street view does not point exactly to the right place. You may need to "drive around" a bit.
