Housed in a former brewery building, Dancing Deer was started by Trish Karter. The company donates part of their profits towards helping homeless families and they also work to be environmentally sustainable. There is a "seconds store" at the factory, but mainly you will find their products at retail establishments throughout the city. They do a lot of mail order business from their Roxbury factory too.

The best cookies in Boston - no question!! I love them all -- molasses glove, chocolate tangerine -- great flavors and soo good. Not only do they produce to die for desserts but Dancing Deer gives part of their profits to help homeless families transition into stable homes. Great food and a positive impact on the community - you can't beat that! My Dad is still talking about the tie/cookie combo I sent last Father's Day. Check them out for the next time you need to send some goodies to someone you love.
