Proceeds from Goodwill’s Running for Great Kids Marathon program will benefit the more than 600 children with great potential but limited opportunities who participate in Goodwill’s Academy for Girls and Fresh Air Camp. The Academy for Girls is a year-round after-school program that offers girls 10-18 academic enrichment, personal and leadership development and career exploration. The Fresh Air Camp, which celebrated its 101st anniversary this past summer, is a residential camp that provides academic and recreation programs for urban youth.
