The Children's Art Centre (CAC) was incorporated in 1914 by United South End Settlements, and was the first public fine arts museum designed exclusively for children. Over the years, the CAC has become a neighborhood tradition bringing arts and cultural enrichment to everyone in the community regardless of race, ethnic background or ability to pay. The Children's Art Centre offers a summer art program in July and August for children ages 5-12. As part of this program children are exposed to both visual and performing arts. Some of their weekly activities include painting, sculpting, karate, yoga, hip hop, theatre and many more. Every Friday during the program children go on field trips around the Boston area. The program runs Monday through Friday from 8am-5:30pm. Includes breakfast, lunch, snack, field trips, and specialized enrichment teachers.
The United South End Settlements' South End House hosts three different youth programs: an early childhood program for children ages two months to 5 years; an after school program for children ages five through 13; and a youth enrichment program with art and movement classes offered to the community. It also offers a teen portfolio class, helping teens build their art portfolios for college.
Graffiti is a place for quick notes. Know the hours of a business but not sure where to put it? Did something just happen at this place? Leave some graffiti.
Sometimes street view does not point exactly to the right place. You may need to "drive around" a bit.
